How do our Techpack+Live Work Sessions work?
If you’re ready for your ideas to become a reality but are not sure where to start with your tech packs, or would like some help from an industry expert to ensure you are factory ready, then you are in the right place! Fashion Delivered offer a bespoke Techpack+Live Work service.
Techpacks are the foundation of garment production, in your Techpack+Live Work you will have the chance to work in real time with one of our talented designers to create your own factory ready Techpacks.
First step, book your 2hr or 3hr Techpack + Live Work session.
Fashion Delivered will arrange a call with one of our designers to discuss your needs in detail, we will advise if you need any more time added to your Techpack + Live Work session to complete your techpack(s).
We’ll send you a simple guide that includes everything you will need to be fully ready for your session. For the most successful Techpack + Live Work session, the most helpful thing you can provide is reference garments you love for their fabric, fit, or the specific details. Having these on hand and showing them to our designer makes it much easier to communicate your vision and helps speed up the design process significantly.
Fashion Delivered will prepare the technical line drawings ahead of time, so in the session we are ready to complete the tech pack together.
We will set up a time and date that suits your for our Techpack + Live Work session, this can be split over sessions if you are booking more than 2hrs and can be in person at our office in Tunbridge Wells, or over Zoom.
During your session we will work together in real time, so you can watch your ideas come to life and understand every element of your Techpack.
At the end of your session you will leave with and editable and PDF version of your completed Techpack.
FAQs
How long will my Techpack+Live Work session be?
We offer 2 or 3hr+Live Work Sessions as our basic booking, this includes one hour for one of our designers to complete your technical line drawings ahead of your session. So if you booked a 2hr session, the live session in which we complete the Techpack together, would be 1 hr. If you are having multiple Techpacks created or your design is particularly complex, we will factor in more time and you can book additional hours, these can be split across multiple sessions dependant on availability and scheduling.
When will I take away from a Techpack+Live Work session?
At the end of your session you will have industry standard tech packs for each item, allowing you to proceed to costing, sampling and production. In an editable version and a PDF.
What information do I need to provide for Fashion Delivered to create me a factory ready tech pack?
Once you have booked you will have a call to discuss your needs in detail with a member of our design team. This early conversation usually involves sending us reference images or simple mock-ups, along with a discussion about your ideas, requirements, and what you want to achieve. When you purchase, we’ll send you a simple guide that includes everything you will beed to be fully ready for your session. I just need Techpacks but don’t need the Live Work session- is this an option?
Yes of course! The Live Work sessions are intended for individuals who want to be involved in the creation of their tech packs, but if you would rather we did the work behind the scenes for you, then please get in touch and we can arrange this for you.
